About The Artist:
Diane Carriere has lived all her life in Northern Ontario and the beauty of the land always spoke to her. She knew she was drawn to light, colour and perspective at a young age. The excitement she feels when the brush hits the paper is a “high” that cannot be explained through the magic of watercolour.
She paints the environment that surrounds her in the Sudbury and Manitoulin Island area. Her goal in her impressionism style draws her audience into the same peaceful place that she is captivated by.
