Brook and Vanessa the creators of Lennox & Lamb in Sudbury

We couldn’t be prouder of the Barrydowne Paint team members who have recently branched out to start their own creative and crafty endeavours. Meet Brooke and Vanessa, two of these inspiring entrepreneurs with their business Lennox & Lamb. Join us in supporting their small business by browsing and buying their imaginative artisan products.

Brooke and Vanessa have always been passionate about art and crafting at home in their spare time, but between the lockdown and Brooke’s recent maternity leave, it seemed the perfect time to follow their passion and turn a pastime into a business project.

This talented duo launched Lennox & Lamb, a handcrafted home décor online shop that took off just as spending more time at home put renewed focus on hygge style and comfort. Among their most popular items are cozy, oversized chunky knit blankets, acrylic paint and resin art, seasonal yarn décor (from cute pumpkins to adorable snowmen), holiday accents and ornaments and customizable gift items.

“We started making blankets and keychains, but our passion for creating and trying new things is never ending,” say Brooke and Vanessa. “A great deal of time and effort goes into lovingly creating each item we make, and our items are priced appropriately to reflect the care and attention to detail that goes into them.”

As new entrepreneurs, Brooke and Vanessa are grateful for the amazing support and inclusivity of the small business community. “We are really learning as we go along, and it’s been incredible how helpful and supportive everyone is of each other.”

Lennox & Lamb’s collection can be viewed on their Instagram page, and items ordered by contacting them directly (custom orders are welcome). In addition, Brooke and Vanessa are excited to participate in some of Sudbury’s local craft markets at Science North during the holiday season, where shoppers will get a sneak peek at some of their newest resin and yarn ornaments and handcrafted Christmas garland.

“We’re coming up with some exciting new ideas for 2022 and are looking forward to what the New Year will bring.”
