About the Artist:

In Nature's Reflections, I (Geja) invite viewers on a journey that spans my life, continents and generations, from my childhoos and young adult life in the Netherlands to my later homes in Nova Scotia and Ontario. My exhibition of my painting celebrates my life with a special lifelong passion as a painter and to express my deep connection to the natural world. Through use of both oil and acrylic paints, I capture my subject flowers and other abstract content - its textures, its light and its colours with bold strokes and a vibrant palette.
