Chantal Roy is a local artist whose lifestyle influences her drive to create original pieces that tell a story.

Her quiet, secluded home east of Sudbury is her favourite place to be. It’s also where she and her husband raised two boys. As a family they explored their love for the outdoors through a shared passion for motorsports.

These inspire Chantal to transform what she sees into oil and acrylic paintings by layering various combinations of colours, mediums and textures with the use of palette knives to achieve a unique style, which resembles a mix of modern impasto and impressionistic realism.
